Hey guys! Guess what, I had a bad cold last week, and have missed a few lectures because of that. Now that our mid-semester are due next week I really need some help in topics like multiply square root equations and some other topics like rational equations, trinomials and quadratic equations. I was thinking on hiring some private tutor but then my pocket money meant that I couldn’t do so. I really need some urgent help in those topics, else I might perform really badly in my mid-semester. Can anyone make a suggestion? I need some help, and I need it FAST! |

Will you please point out what is the nature of difficulty you are stuck with in multiply square root equations? Some more information on this could aid to find out ways of resolving them. Yes. It can indeed be difficult to come across a teacher when time is short and the fee is high. But then you can also choose a program to your liking that is just the precise one for you. There are a number of such programs. The results are obtainable on finger tips. It also gives details meticulously the manner in which the solution is arrived at. This not only gives you the correct answers but coaches you to arrive at the correct answer. |

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebra Buster! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.algebra-online.com/order-algebra-online.htm after a magazine suggested it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra problem. It’s almost like a tutor is explaining it to you. I have been using it for two months and so far, haven’t come across any problem that Algebra Buster can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it! |

That sounds great! I am not at comfort with computers. If this program is easy to use then I would like to try it once. Can you please give me the URL? |

You can download this program from http://www.algebra-online.com/. There are some demos available to see if it is really what you are looking for and if you are interested, you can get a licensed version for a nominal amount. |

I remember having often faced problems with trigonometric functions, linear equations and hypotenuse-leg similarity. A truly great piece of math program is Algebra Buster software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program. |
