percent proportion is my worst problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject? |

I have a good suggestion that could help you with algebra. You simply need a good software to clarify the problems that are complicated. You don't need a tutor, because on one hand it's very costly, and on the other hand you won't have it near you whenever you need help. A software is better because you only have to buy it once, and it's yours forever. I advice you to take a look at Algebra Buster, because it's the best. Since it can solve almost any math exercises, you will certainly use it for a very long time, just like I did. I got it years ago when I was in College Algebra, but I still use it sometimes. |

I fully agree with what was just said. Algebra Buster has always come to my rescue, be it an assignment or be it my preparation for the midterm exams, Algebra Buster has always helped me do well in algebra. It particularly helped me on topics like proportions, geometry and solving inequalities. I would highly recommend this software. |

I remember having problems with linear inequalities, interval notation and y-intercept. Algebra Buster is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
