solving for a variable in a cubic equation

Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora algebra private teacher, because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework lately. Every day when I come home from school I wasteall my time with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's really expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even so good. Does anyone know anything about solving for a variable in a cubic equation that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about radical expressions,function domain or perfect square trinomial? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was studying solving for a variable in a cubic equation. What part of side-side-side similarity and system of equations poses more problems? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good program to help you figure out the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a software like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebra Buster is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the answers.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebra Buster. This is not exactly a tutoring software but it offers solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this software product is that it is very user friendly.
