factoring by foiling

How’s everyone doing I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to get the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with factoring by foiling. Could somebody out there please teach me with function composition, converting decimals and point-slope. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of understanding topics like proportions or unlike denominators quickly, please drop me a line Thanks heaps

You seem to be facing a similar problem that I had some time back. I too thought of hiring a paid help to work it out for me. But they are so expensive that I just could not afford them. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra assignment. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I remember having often faced difficulties with lcf, factoring and scientific notation. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebra Buster software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra.
