Hello Math Gurus! I am a novice at how to convert decimal to whole number on the ti 83. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly, but when I begin to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

What exactly don't you understand about how to convert decimal to whole number on the ti 83? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebra Buster, that's what I did in my Intermediate algebra, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less costly than a tutor and you can work with it anytime you want. It's very easy to use it, even if you never ever had a similar program. I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math tutor. You won't regret it!

I fully agree with that. It truly is a great program. Algebra Buster helped me and my peers a lot during our exam time. We went on to score more than we could ever have thought of. It explains things in a lot more detailed manner, than a instructor ever could, in a class. Moreover, you can read one solution again and again till you actually understand it, unlike in a classroom where the teacher has to move on due to time constraints. Go ahead and try it.
