If you have a doubt, you need to makes an effort to get rid of it. I would not suggest tutoring, but would ask you to try Algebra Buster. It will surely solve your problem concerning radical expression calculator to a large extent.

I didn’t expect something like that could be helpful in math. I’m used to be taught by a teacher but this really sounds promising. Do you have any links for this program?

It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with subtracting fractions, rational equations and system of equations. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
