8 2/3 as a decimal

Hi guys I’m really stuck on 8 2/3 as a decimal and would sure appreciate help to solve with adding functions, radicals and adding exponents. My tests is due soon. I have even thought of hiring a math tutor, but they are not cheap. So any help would be greatly cherished.

A great piece of math software is Algebra Buster. Even I faced similar problems while solving exponent rules, algebra formulas and rational equations. Thanks for the detailed information, this sounds awesome. I needed something just like Algebra Buster, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it without any help, not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?
