how to solve simple balanced equations

Hi, I have been trying to solve equations related to how to solve simple balanced equations but I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with it. Does any one know about pointers that might help me?

Haha! absences are troublesome especially when you missed an important topic like how to solve simple balanced equations that is really quite complicated. Have you tried using Algebra Buster before? I remember having difficulties with complex fractions, multiplying fractions and side-angle-side similarity. Algebra Buster is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Algebra 2 and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear.
