solving equations with negative exponents

Hello all, I have a very important test coming up in math soon and I would really appreciate if any of you can help me solve some questions in solving equations with negative exponents. I am quite good in math otherwise but problems in powers baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be extremely helpful if you can let me know of a reasonably priced math help tool that I can use?

I remember having often faced problems with graphing parabolas, trigonometry and graphing lines. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebra Buster software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
