Percents

The word "percent" means hundredths. That is: per one hundred or . One hundred percent means one whole object. Any value less than 100% is less than one whole object. For example, 50% is less than one whole object. In fact, it is 1/2 of the object. 2% means 2 parts of the whole. Don't forget; the % sign means .
