CATA LOG DESCRIPTION :
Topics include a review of the basic arithmetic ope rations
of whole numbers, mixed numbers, fractions, decimals and percents , ratio and
proportion, basic operations of real numbers , simplifying algebra expressions
and solving basic linear equations . (MAT 0002 cannot be used toward A.A., A.S.,
A.A.S. degree requirements.) Lab fee: $5. FA, SP, SU.
This course also helps develop the general education
skill of (1) critical thinking: (4) computation: and (6) computer literacy.
