Math 1007 Online Algebra Review

Course Content:

This course will cover set/interval/ inequality notation , exponents, radicals and rational exponents , factoring , rational expressions , rationalizing denominators , and solving linear and quadratic equations and inequalities , absolute value equations and inequalities.

Homework:

Homework is a required portion of this course but is only for you to learn the material. No points will be given for homework. You will need to complete all homework as signments in order to take the final exam.

Exams:

There will be 2 practice exams, each covering about half of the material in the course. No points will be given for the practice exams but you will be required to complete them in order to take the final exam

Final Exam:

A cumulative final exam worth 100 points. The final exam will be administered in one of the computer labs at the University and you must be present to take the final exam.

Grades:

Grades will be based on your final exam only.

Grading Scale:

70-100% Pass
Below 70% Fail

Prerequisites:

SP- Math placement or department consent; QP-1001, 1002
