Step-by-step Function Calculator

This algebra solver enables you to evaluate, draw, compose and invert functions Here are some hints on the calculator usage:
  • you can use functional notation to specify functions (i.e. f(x), g(x,y) etc.). Do not use "y" to name the function.
  • you do not have to evaluate (supply values) for all function variables.
  • you can draw arbitrary functions in one variable.
  • when composing a function use this notation - f(g(x)). You can arbitrarily compose any defined function (e.g. (f(g(f(x))))).
  • hover the mouse over the question marks for more detailed help.
  • if any solution steps are unclear, click on the step to see an explanation.
